Moray Glass

Over 30 years experience in manufacturing and installing replacement windows

28 years ago Moray Glass were entrusted with installing new aluminium windows and doors to our first store. They also installed PVCU windows to the derelict flat above the store as this was to be our new home.

Since this first job they have been entrusted with all our work both commercially and privately for numerous reasons but one word in particular sums up my thoughts on them as a company.

Whether this is quality of advice, quality of  care taken with each job, quality of workmanship or quality of the actual manufactured product I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed.

The work undertaken can and often is as simple as replacing the spring in a door at one of the stores or it can be a full project. Whatever the task at hand the attitude and commitment to the work is the same.

Recent projects include a complete new shop frontage which was installed from an early 7am start on a Sunday with a team of five guys working to ensure that not one days trading was lost. To the planning of a frameless glass door for my new beauty store.

What I particularly like is that Moray Glass is very much a team effort with the planners / salespeople having an actual working knowledge of what will and can happen. They are not someone who merely wants a commission these are actual workman who understand what can and cannot be done and will advise accordingly.

As they also manufacture all products in house they have total quality control and they also give clear lead times which they adhere to. Again this is crucial when planning any type of project.

Without doubt it is also refreshing to see many of the original workforce that have been there for many, many years. This again provides a consistency of service for you as a customer and says a lot about the company as an employer.

I have always found that in emergencies or indeed if there are any minor problems that they are back quickly and issues are dealt with with little fuss.

Problems with drawings / wishes are always looked on as challenges and this was never more evident in the last private residential job they completed for me.

This complex house renovation with over 30 windows, a huge amount of PVCU cladding, and a large internal glass staircase was completed in stages with a fantastic end product. Numerous drawings were done till one section was properly planned and balanced to give symmetry and the metal fabrication was organized and overseen by the head of Moray Glass to ensure that the quality was exact.

This type of attention to detail is often lost when price is purely the driving factor yet Moray Glass have again always proved very competitive in terms of the overall costing of the job. This is especially true when you consider how flexible they are to work with and how they liaise with other tradesmen / architects.

I have over all these years recommended Moray Glass to other business owners and friends and would have no hesitation in doing so going forward.

Moray Glass were very helpful from the outset providing valuable guidance and sharing their expert knowledge of their product in order to provide us with the desired look for our new build.

In what is such a competitive market place they were truly a pleasure to deal with.

Thank you

I am absolutely delighted with the installation and the quality of the windows and can't say enough positive things, what a difference it has made to my home.  Your team have been great throughout , from survey to product selection and installation.

I wanted this project done by professionals I could trust and who give honest advice, a quality product and a professional installation.  I am hugely grateful for everyone who undertook this project especially when you consider the distance the guys had to drive, both for the Surveyor Neil and the three days on the road for the install team. Please pass on my sincere thanks to them all for everything they have done.
